You may choose to provide personal information, such as your name, address, telephone number, and email address online via our websites. We recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of children. For this reason, we do not collect or maintain information from children we know are under thirteen (13) years of age, except as permitted by law.
If you choose to communicate with us through the Contacts or Contact Us link on our websites, we may ask you for information, such as your name, email address and telephone number so that we can respond to your questions and comments. We and/or the authorized dealer/service provider in your area may use the information to send you the communications you request and to communicate with you about our products and services. From time to time, some of our sites may offer customers the ability to send e-cards. Email addresses and messages are requested, but are not collected. They are used strictly for e-card email delivery purposes.
If you choose to correspond with us through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses. If you give us your email address, we may send you a welcoming email that may verify password and user name information. If you wish to unsubscribe from email contact, follow the directions in the email or use the contact information at the end of this policy to remove your name from the database.

Your information is collected for shipping, billing, product notices, and customer service assistance.

We offer consumers and customers various features on our websites for their information and enjoyment, which we may change from time to time. We may ask you to submit certain personal information in order that we or the authorized dealer/service provider in your area may use the information to provide you with these features or to communicate with you in the future about our products and services.
Other Uses of Information
We may use the personal information you provide for internal purposes. These purposes include administration, data analytics and compliance with our legal obligations, policies and procedures.
Owner’s Programs or Rewards Programs

Electronic Delivery for Shareholders
If you are a Brunswick shareholder and would like to receive shareholder materials by email, we ask you to register for this service on the Brunswick.com website. Registering will also allow you to vote your shares online. To register, if you are a shareholder in the United States or Canada, you must provide your Social Security number or tax ID number, your email address and a 4-digit PIN. If you are a shareholder in a country other than the United States or Canada, you must provide your Brunswick shareholder account number, your email address and a 4-digit PIN. We use the information you provide to verify that you are a Brunswick shareholder, to register you for the electronic delivery service, and to provide you with the electronic delivery and voting services you requested. You may also update or cancel your registration on the site by providing the same information.
Information We Collect By Automated Means
We collect certain information by automated means when you visit our websites, such as how many users visited our websites and the pages that were accessed. By collecting this information, we learn how to best tailor our websites to our visitors. We collect this information through various means such as "cookies" and "web beacons." In addition, we may collect IP addresses, as explained below.

We at Brunswick Corporation respect your concerns about privacy and value the relationship we have with you. Brunswick and its U.S. divisions and subsidiaries (hereinafter collectively known as “Brunswick”) are in the process of certifying to the U.S. Department of Commerce Safe Harbor program relating to the European Directive on Data Protection (see: http://www.export.gov/safeharbor), regarding the collection, storage, transfer, use and other processing of consumer, customer, job applicant, and employee personal information transferred from the EEA to the United States.
Scope of this Policy
Human Resources personal information transferred from the EEA to the United States are processed in accordance with internal policies in accordance with the Safe Harbor privacy principles. If you are a job applicant and would like to receive more information on our Human Resources privacy practices, please refer to the “How to Contact Us” section of this policy. For purposes of this Policy, “Personal Information” means information that (i) is transferred from the EEA to the United States, (ii) is recorded in any form, (iii) is about, or relates to, an identified or identifiable consumer or customer, and (iv) can be linked to that consumer or customer. This Policy outlines our general policy and practices for implementing the Safe Harbor privacy principles for online and offline Personal Information.
Safe Harbor Privacy Principles
Brunswick’s policy regarding the collection, storage, transfer, use and other processing of Personal Information is to comply with the Safe Harbor principles of notice, choice, onward transfer, access, security, data integrity, and enforcement and oversight.
It is Brunswick’s policy to notify our consumers and customers located in the EEA about the purposes for which we collect and use Personal Information, the types of third parties to which we disclose the information, the choices consumers and customers have for limiting the use and disclosure of their information, and how to contact us about our practices concerning Personal Information.
Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information
In the course of its relationship with customers and/or consumers, Brunswick may collect certain Personal Information such as name, email address, postal address and telephone number. It is Brunswick’s policy to not collect sensitive Personal Information, such as information about medical or health conditions, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership or other sensitive information as defined by the Safe Harbor framework.
We may use Personal Information (i) to respond to your requests; (ii) to evaluate the quality of our products and services; (iii) to help us understand your purchasing habits and needs; (iv) to communicate with you about our products and services; (v) to inform you about, and allow you to participate in, our offers, contests and other promotions or events; (vi) for internal administrative, analytics and compliance purposes; (vii) to manage consumer warranty claims, consumer complaints, consumer technical support and product safety notifications; and (viii) to comply with our legal obligations.
Brunswick discloses Personal Information to Brunswick subsidiaries and affiliates, and with Brunswick business partners in order to perform tasks on behalf and under the instructions of Brunswick as described in the “Onward Transfer of Personal Information” section. It is Brunswick’s policy to not use Personal Information for purposes incompatible with the purposes for which the information was originally collected without notifying the relevant individuals of such uses and offering an opportunity to opt out. It is Brunswick’s policy to provide consumers and customers located in the EEA with an opportunity to opt out of sharing Personal Information with other third parties. Please contact our Privacy Officer if you would like to opt out, as specified in the “How to Contact Us” section of this Policy.
In addition, we may disclose Personal Information (i) if we are required to do so by law or legal process, (ii) to law enforcement authorities or other government officials based on an enforceable government request or as may be required under applicable law, or (iii) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss or in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual illegal activity.
Onward Transfer of Personal Information
We may share Personal Information with service providers we have retained to perform services on our behalf. We are in the process of implementing Safe Harbor requirements with respect to sharing Personal Information with our service providers.
Access to Personal Information
Brunswick provides consumers and customers located in the EEA with reasonable access to the Personal Information the company maintains about them. We also provide a reasonable opportunity to correct, amend or delete that information where it is inaccurate. We may limit or deny access to Personal Information where providing such access is unreasonably burdensome or expensive under the circumstances, or as otherwise permitted by the Safe Harbor principles. To obtain access to Personal Information, you may contact Brunswick by email, telephone or in writing, as specified in the “How to Contact Us” section of this Policy.
Brunswick maintains reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect Personal Information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.
Brunswick takes reasonable steps to ensure that Personal Information it collects is relevant for the purposes for which the information will be used and that the information is reliable for its intended use and is accurate, complete and current. We depend on our consumers and customers to update or correct their Personal Information whenever necessary.
Enforcement and Oversight
Consumers and customers located in the EEA may file a complaint with our Privacy Officer in connection with Brunswick’s processing of their Personal Information. If the complaint cannot be resolved though our internal process, it shall be settled by arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Judgment on any award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.
